Republic Day Celebrations at Archbishop's House

Bangalore, January 26, 2022: Archbishop Most Rev. Dr Peter Machado unfurled the National Flag on the auspicious day of 73rd Republic Day. The Clergy Home Fathers, Sisters and Maria Bhavan brothers were present at the celebration held at Archbishop's House campus.

Speaking on the significance of Republic Day, the prelate said "On this day, as we celebrate the Republic Day, we celebrate our sacred Constitution. The Constitution is the very basis and foundation for our country... We pray for our beloved country India and thank God for the same. The very colours of the flag reflect the diversity of our nation.”
